"Weird Al" Yankovic - Perform This Way, Bukan "Born This Way" (Lady Gaga)

Setelah menerima penolakan, "Weird Al" Yankovic diizinkan untuk menyanyikan lagu berjudul “Perform This Way”, sebuah lagu Parodi yang menyindir lagu "Born This Way" milik Lady Gaga.

"Weird Al" Yankovic yang nyeleneh dengan lagunya “Perform This Way” tersebut adalah seorang seniman yang sering membuat plesetan lagu-lagu orang lain, salah satunya adalah lagu Michael Jackson “Beat it” berpaling menjadi "Eat It", dan masih ada puluhan lagu yang lain.

Seperti yang ditampilkan dalam video yang diposting di YouTube dan tulisan di blognya, penjualan video dan lagu “Perform This Way” akan digunakan untuk Kampanye Hak Asasi Manusia.

"Weird Al" Yankovic sebenarnya tidak butuh persetujuan dari Lady Gaga, hanya untuk alasan kesopanan, ia mengirim lagu “Perform This Way” ke menajer Lady GaGa, manajer tersebut tidak meneruskannya ke Lady Gaga.

Dalam postingan Yankovic di blog pribadinya, manajer Lady Gaga meminta maaf dan katanya Gaga menyukai lagu “Perform This Way”-nya.
